About Us

Where traditional
values meet
tomorrow’s technology.

Farmers Mutual Telephone Company (FMTC) is a member-owned telecommunications cooperative in Fruitland, Idaho. We are a customer-focused, community-friendly company and have provided telecommunication services in Fruitland since 1908 and Nu Acres since 1998.

As a cooperative, we offer many benefits to our Fruitland and Nu Acres members. We give them a share of profits based on patronage and create a sense of community among customers.

Along with residential VoIP and business phone service, high speed internet and broadband services, we offer business networking, computer repair, network wiring and ESI Business Phone Systems.

FMTC is dedicated to providing you with the internet bandwidth you need. As the need for faster internet increases, we are meeting demands with our extensive Fiber to the Home (FTTH) project, which provides speeds of up to 1,000 Mbps (1 Gig) where a high-quality FMTC fiber connection is available.

We offer the latest technology for residential phones, including VoIP
(Voice Over Internet Protocol) voice services with free calling features. We customize voice services to meet your needs.
