As a Certified Gig-Capable Provider, Farmers Mutual Telephone Company (FMTC) in Fruitland joins other telecom providers that have built communications networks capable of delivering Internet speeds of up to 1 gigabit per second, which is 100 times faster than those currently available in many U.S. households.
To achieve certification,FMTC showed that gigabit technology is currently commercially available within 95% of our serving territory. FMTC is helping to pave the way for advanced services in our community for telehealth, education and economic opportunity.
